The NoxNoise app (“the app”) lets you play custom procedural noises, brainwave entrainment frequencies, and natural stochastic soundscapes. Data you configure in the app is not sent to us (Salvatore Cattano) or to third parties for storage, analytics, or “collection” on our systems. We do not use any database or server we operate to store your app content (custom sound presets, favorite lists, operational preferences). Questions about this policy: info@salvatorecattano.it.
All app data remains on your device and, if you turn on the app’s iCloud sync, in your personal iCloud space tied to your Apple ID, handled by Apple under its terms and infrastructure. That content is not transmitted to us or stored on the developer’s systems.
Depending on how you use the app, the following may exist on your device (and optionally in your iCloud):
We do not sell personal data or use the app for ad profiling; we do not have access to the items above because they are not on our systems.
Data is used only to run the app on your device: playing your curated settings, custom sound mixes, shortcuts, and background timers. Processing happens on-device (and, if enabled, via Apple services for your iCloud), not on our servers.
The NoxNoise app does not request, collect, or process your location data. No location coordinates are stored on your device or synced via iCloud.
A copy of the data may sync through Apple services (e.g. iCloud Key-Value Store and local SwiftData synced via Apple's CloudKit container) linked to your iCloud account. Sync is managed automatically by the iOS operating system based on your account settings. We do not host or access that content on our servers.
Features linked to Siri or Shortcuts use parameters you configure to trigger specific soundscapes or sleep timers on the device, in line with Apple’s system settings. We do not send that content to developer-operated servers.
We do not disclose your app data to third parties because we do not store it in our own database or on other systems we control: it exists only on your device and, if you choose sync, in your iCloud. Apple provides the OS, App Store, and iCloud if you use it; any processing by Apple is covered by Apple’s policies. We do not embed third-party ad trackers or marketing analytics in the app.
Data stays on your device and in your iCloud (if on) until you delete it in the app (e.g. deleting a custom preset), change settings, or remove the app. To remove data from iCloud, use the actions available in Apple’s system settings.

The app is not directed at children under 16 (or the minimum age under applicable law). We do not knowingly collect data from children through systems we operate, and we do not maintain archives holding that information.
